Diurnal Nights, 2016

From 2016–18, I worked almost exclusively in black and white in order to discover my signature style at the beginning of my career. Diurnal Nights was one of my earliest paintings, created during a period focused solely on line, tone, shape, and form. I consider these works the skeleton of my current practice, forming the foundation for everything that followed.
